GARLIC BREAD

INGREDIENTS

for the bread

  • 2tsp yeast
  • 150g sugar
  • 60g oil
  • 3 eggs
  • a pinch of salt
  • 500g flour

for the 'filling'

  • 100g butter
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1tsp salt
  • 10g mixed herbs
  • 250g grated mozzarella

its good for about 2 days if you
keep it fresh but i reccomend    
eating it the day you baked it

HOW

for the bread

  • add yeast and 1tbsp sugar into 1 cup of water
  • mix oil into he concotion
  • beat in your eggs one at a time with the rest of the sugar and salt
  • add flour and the dough should start holding together
  • put the dough n a flour-y table and need it until it looks right
  • put the dough back in the bowl then cover it and let it rise for about an hour
  • now punch the doug before letting it rise again for another half an hour
  • put the loaf in a loaf tin after lining it with baking paper
  • brush an egg over the loaf
  • let it sit there for another hour uncovered
  • preheat the oven to 190 and brush the loaf with egg again
  • bake for 35 to 40 minutes before letting it cool

for the 'filling'

  • preheat the oven again to 200 degrees
  • add the butter aand garlic and salt in a tupperware
  • microwave it in 5 second bursts until it is melted
  • cut diamonds into your bread only about two thirds down so the bottom is intact
  • shove the mozzarella into the cracks in the bread
  • now pour the garlic butter thing over the mozzarella
  • wrap the bread into foil
  • put it back into the oven for 20 minutes
  • remove and bin the foil before putting it into the oven for another 10 minutes
  • let it cool before sering it
